Health Care Ebbs & Flows:
Opportunity or Obstacle?
Presented by: Melanie Prince, MSS, MS, BSN, NE-BC, CCM, FAAN
ABSTRACT
"Ebb and flow" is a metaphorical phrase that depicts a recurrent or rhythmical pattern of coming and going or decline and regrowth. What does a changing healthcare landscape mean for case managers? What is the nature of this change trajectory? This session will debate the ebb and flow of a changing healthcare system or a changing landscape. The conclusion of this session will be an interactive exercise and participants are encouraged (but not required) to watch the movie Hidden Figures for a richer experience.
