In 2002, she was named the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) National Case Manager of the Year and in 2008, she received CMSA’s Lifetime Achievement Award. 

​She currently serves as a Board Member for the Hospital Quality Foundation and has been a reviewer for the Patient Centered Outcome Research Institute. 
 
Nancy is a member of American Cannabis Nurses Association and was invited to serve as a member of ACNA's National Conference Committee.
