PRESENTER: Michael Austin
Michael Austin works as an Equity and Leadership Consultant at the Early Childhood Investment Corporation. Through his work, Michael seeks to increase access to the experiences needed for the optimal development of children and families. It is through that goal that my work centers and uplifts family and parent voices.
Michael has had the privilege of supporting parent leaders nationally by coordinating Parent Leadership Conferences, hosting parent training and learning opportunities, and capturing the voices of parents and families through research projects, focus groups, and interviews. At a macro level, Michael's work supports organizations and initiatives to build capacity to better serve, incorporate, and uplift parent voices. |
